The perks of having to eat metaphorical 💩 in the ad game? Helping you learn from my f**k ups (and wins). After being a lifeline for hundreds of ad students, interns and juniors for a number of years (low-key flex 💪), I figure I’d make it offish and aid more lost souls out.

I am an ACD writer who hails from the land of Florida man.
In 2015, I traded legal briefs for ad briefs, and never looked back...unless Florida Man was chasing me 🔪
My ex-work flings include—BBDO NY, FCB NY, Saatchi & Saatchi Toyota, and other shops who have gone out of business (RIP) 🪦 Part-time, you might catch me teaching a course at Ad House NY, Denver Ad School or serving as an ad-junct professor at UM.
On paper, this sounds grand. In reality, you’re not privy to the panic attacks, mental breakdowns, and rejections I’ve faced. But hey, 💩 happens. I would not be able to help you (whoever YOU are) navigate breaking into the ad game, switching roles, getting laid off, landing gigs, and (insert drama here) if it were all smooth sailing ⛵

"I was fortunate enough to land a copywriting internship at one of the biggest ad agencies without going to portfolio school. bre saw potential in me and took me under her wings. she made time to mentor me on top of all the workload she had on her plate. she not only helped me become a better copywriter, but she helped me realize that i can do anything if i apply myself."
"While interning at fcb, bre helped me immensely as an outside to the ad industry, particularly in navigating my first job out of college, refining my skill set as a creative and starting my career off in the best way possible. she is an empathetic mentor, selfless with her amazing bre-isms and a true advocate for helping others find a space to succeed within the ad industry."
"as someone who was green to advertising and agency life, bre lit a fire inside me. her passion rubbed off and it made me see who i could be in this industry. her patience, expertise, and just mentoring helped me to accelerate my knowlesge base and gave me a clear path to success. without the foundation she laid for me i woud not be where i am today—a copy supervisor leading 3 brands who has won the manny vision award."
One of the best pieces of advice i've ever received regarding advertising wasn't advice at all, it was watching a professional perform at the highest pedigrees. bre attacks each day with unreleting optimism and an open mind to tackle creative problems, and that same attitude to chip away every day and get better is something i'll take with me for the rest of my career.
